Dear students and parents,
My name is Ms. Alston and I will be teaching Biology, Environmental Science, Anatomy & Physiology and Forensic Science. I will also be the student council advisor for the 2022-2023 school year.
I am very excited to get to know all of you and would like to briefly introduce myself:
This is my eighth year in the Middlesex County Magnet School district and I love being a part of this community.
After graduating from Cook College (Rutgers University) with a degree in biology, I entered the pharmaceutical industry before I entered into teaching. Before coming to the MCVTS district, I taught labs at a community college, I taught 7th grade science and I spent three years teaching high school science in Hamilton, NJ. I also served as a medic in the United States Army.
This year will look very different and as we all navigate distance/hybrid learning, please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
I will be posting important announcements, homework and class information on my website, as well as on Google Classroom so make sure to check back often.
If you have any questions, I can be reached at alstonc@mcmsnj.net
